PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING IMPORTANT TERMS REGARDING CONDITION. Could use refinished, body is scratched up some but nothing cosmetically affecting sound. Case itself under leather does have painted. Complete with mouth piece and what you see. Selmer Signet Saxophone with hard case and zip up leather cover. If you are an international bidder, please have an impeccable buying/selling history with Ebay or do not submit a bid. And let me repeat: I am not a dealer I want these beautiful instruments to go to someone like me who has appreciated how formidable a competitor Buescher was viz-a-viz Henri Selmer's product way back when. No mouthpiece but I am going to ship it in a brand new Pro-Tec case(see image above) You will NOT find a better playing vintage alto anywhere. It is a masterpiece of silver-plating but, best of all, it is the best-playing alto I've ever picked up. When it was ready to ship, he called me from California and said excitedly, Man, listen to how this sounds, and he played a few licks over the phone. I bought this horn from Laksar Reese, a superb player and sax restorer.

It plays in better pitch than any Selmer I've ever tried. Take this magnificent vintage silver Buescher alto(serial number 283764) sax. They aren't Selmers(and I know Selmers through and through) but each plays as good or better than its Selmer counterpart. I gigged with them and loved playing them. more I'm not a dealer and I never purchased a horn that wasn't top-notch and that wasn't intended to be a player's horn. I've reached the age where I've got to give up playing- which means selling off my magnificent collection of saxes(see my other auctions). No mouthpiece but I am going to ship it in a brand new Pro-Tec case(see images above) You will NOT find a better playing vintage soprano anywhere. I put epoxy risers on the side keys(which you can keep or remove) and just the other day I had Emilio(of Rayburn's Boston) replace a low C# pad which was OK- but now it is perfect. Think the sound of Bechet: cutting, crystal clear.
